- Celestine is the only offspring of Pureblood and Clarity. Produced by a misguided love spell, she was born to unwed parents. (making her a bastard child). Pureblood and Clarity, even after Celestine’s birth, did not get together, but Celeste brought them closer together as friends.
- Celestine was always a quiet baby, Clarity thought she lucked out and had it easy until Celeste began hanging out with baby Quetzalli. Zalli was a rough and tumble kind of filly, and Celeste loved that she had a new friend her age, and so began playing with her the same way.. Resulting in many bath times and groomings, Which Celestine didn’t mind; she liked baths.
- Despite being more on the girly side of life, she never had an issue getting along with Zalli. Some days, Celestine would have Zalli over to play dress up and Quetzalli would whine the whole time as Celeste laughed and put more bows on her; And some days Zalli would invite Celestine over for a game of imagination role playing, where Celestine never said no to playing a mighty Monster. (Despite not being very scary)
- Celestine spends every other day with her father, Pureblood. With joint costudy, she gets an even amount of time with both her parents. Pureblood moved to Ponyville to ensure he would be there to help raised his daughter. He doesn’t live with them, but he has his own place not too far from them. Celestine doesn’t have much in common with her father, but at the same time, they do everything together when they are together.
- Celeste took an early interest in dress making like her GamGam (Grandma) Rarity, specifically the sewing/stitching aspect. She found it fascinating how intricate and fragile the sewing needles were, and watching them go back and forth in and out of the fabric seemed to hypnotize her. Rarity hopes her little Gem will someday join her side and take over her boutiques. (Since neither Clarity nor Charity took any interest in making dresses themselves)
- Celestine is completely oblivious to the fact that her best friend Quetzalli has a crush on her. Despite the sudden blushing at times and mumbles, she just took them as Zalli’s personality instead of her trying to hide her feelings. She shows no interest in crushing on anypony herself, though.
- Much like Zalli, Celestine doesn’t know much about her grandfather, Blueblood. With her family pretty much ignoring him, Celeste doesn’t try to pry on the details. As for her Nana Trixie, Trixie comes over to visit every weekend and perform Magic Shows for her precious grandbaby. She finds Celestine to be the best audience she’s ever had.
