This was a top 10 finalist’s entry into the design a my little pony contest that was on an official poster.
However in Vertizonal’s drawing of the top 10 around the time of the contest here? she’s a lot more feminine. I’m interpreting that as the entry drawing and description are of a mare; this drawing. I think the square muzzle is just how DHX decided Saddle Arabian horses look, taller and with the more square muzzles. Like how the delegates looked in the show.
