Yeah I just LOVED this comic and I was so HOPING that the artist would finish it when it was still on page 3, I wanted to see what would happen to Fwuffy in the end and it turned out perfect like that, I hate the pictures or comics where the Fluffy ponies are harmed or killed, that makes me sick to the stomach.
At least you didn’t kill him off in the story, I loved this comic and was happy to see that his owner came home after so long and was able to clean him up like that in the end.
Well of course - I loved the comic too. Its also why I wrote the story. I initially thought the owner was negligent and irresponsible, despite the happy ending. But then the coronavirus happened and with it, there has been these travel restrictions and quarantines, as well as the general paranoia. The way I see it, a situation like that could lead to a similar “literal sadbox” situation.
But like the comic, the happy ending is important. The coronavirus has made the current time difficult for a lot of us, yes. But we need to remain calm and optimistic. My heart goes out to all people who have a “Wuby” to return to at home.

With the Coronavirus pandemic going on, did a tribute to this story from the perspective of the owner, unable to return home because of quarantine: https://www.fluffybooru.com/post/view/56009
Link to the same story on the new site: https://www.fluffycommunity.com/t/literal-sadbox-coronavirus-edition-by-oculus/1296
Foxhoarder here, declaring this story as officially canon for this series.

Stay safe folks. And keep calm.

Heck, I never thought this would continue either.
