There was a fair amount of industrialism even in Season 1, and very little I could call druidism. Still don’t think we’ve seen any combustion engines, either.

this season 1 map holds up very well over 7 years of freelance-writers canonizing “everything but the kitchen sink” with “too many cooks” and a lot of inconsistency, due to canonizing everything with a delay of 1 seasson, where all the writers looked at the product of all the other writers.
 
Because this map does not get lost in details and cares most for rough adjacency estimates, more than many later episodes, and similar mapping attempts, that are just very inconsistent.
 
Dragonshy mountain got moved north, the old castle got moved south, but all that was canonized in season 2, after this was drawn.  
Fluttershys cottage is most likely southeast of ponyville, well established within season 1, by its close adjacency to the northeastern windmil (likely the only windmill of ponyville) .
 
season 1 is almost only medieval druidism and nature-harmony. later seasons quickly rushed post-industrtialization, with steam trains since season 2, and combustion engines quiickly after, mostly for franchising, to sell toy trains and cars.
