The night was cold…or was it just her imagination? No sound could be heard except her own pants and the footsteps that approached her grew louder with each step. This was it…this was going to be her demise. Triney was on the ground, kneeling in defeat from her recent battle, cuts, scrapes and wounds scattered all over her body leaving her in agonizing pain. Trails of blood rolled down her suit before dripping down onto the pavement. She was in no condition to keep fighting. You’d expect that a powerful mare like her could hold herself off on a one on one fight especially in her full cursed state, unfortunately for her, sheer strength wasn’t enough to subdue her foe.
“Look at you, all that power and you STILL can’t beat me. Why attain those powers in the first case then huh?” The mare who approached her said.
As soon as she was close enough, Triney came eye to eye with her own sword pointed at her, being held by none other than her little sister Jenna. It made sense why she’d target Triney, she couldn’t just forget what she did years ago.

She was only 10 at that time and Triney was well over 13 at that time. After having a sleep over at a friends place, Jenna came back late at night to find police, ambulances and even news vans surrounding her estate. What the hell had happened? She rushed for her house only to be stopped by a police officer as she tried to slip by the yellow tape. With curiosity eating her heart out, she asked the officer what happened to her parents and sister, but all she got was a look that suggested something dreadful. With each second that passed by, she could feel her heart ache, did they die? Were they kidnapped? What happened!? The officer told her to stay back and so she did, for a single second before making a dash for the house slipping past his arms. Upon entering, her eyes widened in shock and disbelief in what she saw. Her parents were down on the floor, stoned…their physical bodied had actually turned into stone!
“M-Mommy….D-Daddy….” She whispered out hoping they’d come back through some miracle, however they didn’t. Why?…That was the first question that ran through her mind, followed by a how?
Her attention was drawn back by the officer yelling at her then she remembered, Triney! She took to her heels again and ran upstairs to open Triney’s door, surprised by what she saw. Her bedroom was a complete wreck, like a mad anthro had lived in her room. Books were scattered all over the room, scripts and papers pinned on anything that was solid, scratch marks in the floor and bed, stacked boxes of pizza placed above her bed….she’d go on but she had enough horror to deal with. One thing that caught her attention was an open, ominous book that laid at the center of the room. With curiosity still lingering inside her, she picked it up and read the first page she looked at. It was a spell that when said, would grant the reader power beyond her wildest dreams, however as payment, the book had to consume roughly 20 souls within a specific range. After she was done reading, she practically froze…it was Triney…Triney was the cause of what had happened. Before she knew it, the officer had grabbed her and began to take her back outside. At that moment two emotions fought for her judgement, anger that her sister was the cause of it and disbelief that her sister would do such a thing. Unfortunately anger took the cake. Triney did the spell when she knew the exact consequence that would occur. However Triney at that point didn’t know it would happen as she was just blinded by the thought of finally receiving more power. From that day she swore vengeance to Triney and bring justice to her parents as well as the others affected by her selfish actions.

“Jenna…I-I’m sorry, I had no idea the spell would do that to our parents…” Triney muttered under the little strength she could build up.
“Tch. You just had to be greedy, wanting more power just because you were picked on at school. Why couldn’t you just be content with what you have!” Jenna yelled and unfortunately for Triney, received a hard kick on the face.
Triney may have had power, but she lacked skill like Jenna, that was why she was able to defeat her.
“I’m sorry! I know it was a dumb idea and I have lived with regret all my life. If I could take this power away, I would! You don’t think I miss them!” Triney yelled in protest, her tears rolling down her bruised face.
“But the deed has already been done, and for that, I must execute you, that’s the only way I can accept your forgiveness.” Jenna then raised the sword. “NOW DIE!!!”
Before she could deal the final strike, a red mare blocked her path, lifting Triney back to her knees and hugging her tightly. “NO, DON’T DO IT!” She yelled.
“R-Reaper?” Triney whispered softly, clearly surprised by her appearance.
“Who the hell are you?” Jenna asked as she lowered the sword and pointed at her.
“Triney is my little sister and I can’t let you bring any harm to her!” Reaper yelled clutching even tighter onto Triney.
“You two aren’t even blood related!!!!” Jenna barked, clearly angered by her statement.
“I DON’T CARE!!! BLOOD RELATED OR NOT SHE’S STILL MY LITTLE SISTER!” Reaper yelled again.
