I really like FountainStranger’s headcanon of Ocellus being a changeling queen, so here you can see her growing into those traits!~ I’m not sure if she’ll have more to it. I was thinking of the double iris pupils but I’d have to see how it looks x)
Ravagers: a highly-aggressive insectoid predator native to Draenor and in my setting is what the Changelings had evolved from after being exposed to the ambient magic-rich environment of Equestria for several generations.
Dread Ravens: an apex Avian predator native to Draenor who were the offspring of Anzu, a Wild God whose known for his Cunning, Intellect, and proficiency for Magic. In my setting, Anzu is the Patron deity of Unicorns who had taught them how to use Magic, while his offspring and closest of followers known as the Skalar Court hold governance over all things regarding Magic, Nature, Tides, and the Night.

I also am a supporter of the Proto-Queen theory stipulating that the Changelings are split up into various Castes that fulfill a purpose for the Hive: each Caste is led by a single Proto-Queen who are the second-highest tier within the Hive and are fertile due to their unique hatching conditions: where instead of just hatching from an Egg, Proto-Queens are made from Eggs that have been kept within a specialized pouch deep within the Queens’ ovipositer and after hatching are directed out of the Queen in a method similar to a mammalian birth.
Proto-Queen Chrysalis was placed into leading the Minder Caste whose duties involved tending to the various clutches of Eggs propagated by both the Queen and of the other Proto-Queens, and to help in facilitating this the Minders’ Emotivore appetite consisted of Love and would simply bind their prey within silk cocoons or transform themselves into someone dear to their prey to gain Love from them. But compared to the other Castes and the Proto-Queens that led them: Chrysalis and her Minders were arguably the kindest within the Hive.
The Berserker Caste led by Proto-Queen Raptorial were the elite Frontline warriors who held sufficient mastery over the Ravager Form: a primordial insectoid predator that all Changelings had once evolved from back when the species had belonged to a long lost Deathworld. Raptorial was an aggressive brute that reveled in bloodshed and pain to her enemies, and often used her pheromones to incite violence into Non-Changelings in a bid to have their victims tear each-other apart and then sweep in with the rest of her Caste to kill off the survivors. This Caste was the ones responsible for causing the conflict at Apple loose during the events of Over a Barrel, but afterwards the Caste and its’ remote Colony was wiped outdays later by an unknown assailant.
The Infiltrator Caste led by Proto-Queen Mirage were the insideous manipulators: whereas the Berserker Caste was a serrated blade, the Infiltrator Caste was a surgeons’ knife who prided themselves on subtlety and precision who would often go ahead of the other Castes when it came to warfare to study and probe at their preys’ defenses. Taking a page out of the playbook of the Dread Raven: the apex predator from the same Deathworld that the Ravagers came from, the Infiltrators use the emotions of Paranoia and Fear to sustain them and take a religious fervor in weakening their victims and slowly driving them into madness using their sleep-inhibiting Pheromones. Proto-Queen Mirage also employed a rite-of-passage within her Caste: stealing an Egg from another Proto-Queens’ Caste Clutch without being caught and have the Nymph raised as one of the Infiltrators, which is how Pharynx was added to the Infiltrators instead of simply being hatched among the Berserkers. Proto-Queen Mirage held a deep animosity towards Chrysalis viewing her sister as unambiguous and a weakling who was of a higher tier in the Caste hierarchy compared to the Infiltrators, along with jealousy for Pharynx who was slated as a Breeding Male to have made romantic overtures for Proto-Queen Chrysalis. It was what led to Proto-Queen Mirage orchestrating the events that led to what Equestria would soon call: “The First Battle of Canterlot” during the events of Royal Canterlot Wedding. Ultimately, the Changelings led by Proto-Queen Mirage who masqueraded themselves as though they were Minders served to drive a wedge between any potential chance for Proto-Queen Chrysalis to forge an alliance between the Minders and Ponies: especially when Mirage personally entered the fray and disguised herself as her “weakling mewling Lover Sister”.
Ultimately the Infiltrators would be blasted away from Canterlot and towards the badlands where they would make the trek back to their Hive, however soon the Changelings would find themselves embroiled in a slaughter orchestrated by “The Highlord”: a Filly of indeterminate subspecies who used powers of both Fire and Light in battle against the Changelings that resulted in the near-complete destruction of the Chanfelings with over 96% of the entire Hive including the surrounding forest to be burned away into a crater of molten glass, the only ones to have survived the assault were the Minders, Pharynx and the now Queen Chrysalis, who would find the molten slag that once was The Highlords’ enchanted Armor which possessed anti-Magical properties, which Chrysalis would fashion into the Changeling Throne.

He fucked his mum!?
Do you subscribe to the “Ocellus is the daughter of Chrysalis and Pharynx” theory like I do?
