The general consensus I’m getting is a “yes” out of ten. In particular, Soul Reaver for PS1 really looks neat to me. I’m interested because they look like their stories hold up well as well as good characters.

Ah dude Legacy of Kain. Now that is a classic.

Honestly never played them myself but I did play the demo of the first game and damn was it fun.

Although I heard the story got a little silly by like the third game I think. Due to it switching developers or something.

I’d suggest you look up a let’s play or something similar on youtube. It’ll give you a better idea of the games. I will say that if you like games with impressive stories and amazing voiceacting you won’t go wrong with these.
