When Thorax first became King of all the Equestian Changelings, Miyama was one of his first supporters as well as most of the other Broodmares. Miya was born to bear children and under Chrysalis’s rule that was all she could aspire to. She wasn’t allowed to marry and the Queen chose which stallions would sire each Broodmare’s children. However Thorax proposed that any Changeling had the right to have children and choose their own lovers.
 
That being said…Miyama thinks Thorax is a bit of a kid, maybe even a bit too idealistic.
 
Mi is a bit older than Thorax possibly by 3 years. Miyama has had to deal with a lot more nastiness than Thorax in that time. She’d already had 7-8 different clusters of eggs and was seen as the most successful Broodmare as she’s never lost a child and all her babies grew up to be strong members of the hive.
 
Little did Miyama know how hard poor Thorax would fall for her…
 
 
Miya is a tad bit serious and has a resting bitchface despite being a genuinely friendly mare.  
She’s incredibly patient with foals allowing them to nibble at her long scarlet hair and crawl all over her.
