Carrot Crunch had known Apple Bloom since he had first moved to Ponyville. The Carrots and the Apples were close business partners and friends, and Carrot Crunch and his family moved into a small farm on the Apples’ property. Carrot was a few years younger than Apple Bloom, and a little shy towards the Apples, especially to Apple Bloom. But he warmed up to them with the infamous revival of the Apple Family Reunion, where the Carrots were also invited. Not long after, he started to attend the local Ponyville Schoolhouse. Unfortunately, he was picked on (mainly by Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon) for his abnormally large teeth. This lead to him being even shyer and speaking less, so others wouldn’t see his teeth. But after Diamond Tiara got her comeuppance, Carrot greatly admired Apple Bloom and her friends. Whenever he visited the Apples, he’d always make sure to chat with Apple Bloom. As they became teens, his admiration turned into adoration. His crush didn’t got unnoticed, and Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo helped him confess to her. Apple Bloom, being dumbfounded and flattered, didn’t know what to say. But to keep it short, they started to date. After graduation, they got married. Applejack and Big Macintosh couldn’t say they approved of her getting married so young, but she always used the argument of their own parents marrying young. Their love is simple, and they’re practically perfect for one another. They had a daughter a while after getting married, and her name is Gingersnaps. A few years later, they adopted a kind little pegasus they named Zap Apple Jam. Apple Bloom encourages her children to be unique, and went to the full extent in helping them find their true talents. And Carrot Crunch’s life lessons and warmth help keep them in check. They’re not perfect parents, but sure do try their best.
