I was thinking about it and I figured why not? so Flurry Heart is gonna be a part of my Nextgen verse now! I had a few ideas for some sibling stuff with Romeo since Flurry would be his big sister and I thought it would be cool to have another NextGen living in the Crystal Empire
 
some character notes I came up with for Flurry:
 
~ Flurry Heart was a rather rambunctious filly, known for being tomboyish and brash as a child. Many of the Crystal Empire higher ups found Flurry’s behaviour offensive and unladylike, so in order to please them as she got older, Flurry began to train to be a proper princess. Although Flurry enjoys being a princess and performs her duties with pride, she misses being able to be as free as the other ponies her age.  
~ When Sunburst became Flurry Heart’s crystaller, he also took on the role of being her mentor figure, someone she could go to for guidance. Sunburst actually played a large role in Flurry’s training to become a princess as well, often giving her princess etiquette lessons and teaching her the history of the Crystal Empire her future kingdom.  
~ because Beauty is Sunburst’s daughter, she saw Flurry Heart often and even helped with a few of Flurry’s lessons. They grew up seeing each other often enough that they became friends, and when she gets the chance, Flurry sneaks out using a magical disguise to see her friend without all of the stuffy royal stuff. Beauty loves getting to show Flurry all the fun stuff that non royals get to do, like going to festivals without being crowded by fans, and hiking through the crystal mountains surrounding the empire. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%~
 
I liked the idea of her hair looking like it had freshly fallen snow in it all the time, so I used that in her design, I thought it seemed fitting with the crystalling fiasco and her name which literally has the word “Flurry” in it.
