“Oh… I just thought I saw something over here. I’ll be right back!” He explained, and trotted over to where he saw the glittering whatsit.
“Hey hey hey!!! Where’s that filly going! She could seriously mess something up back there!” Kid declared, almost falling over his hooves in the process, but a burst of yellow magic kept him from hitting the ground.
“Calm down, Kid. If it bothers you that much, I’ll keep an eye on her.” Sunburst smiled, and Kid suddenly seemed far more at ease. “Keep up the good work here, ok?” Kid nodded almost glowed with an enthusiasm that didn’t exist before.
“Him. Truffle is a colt.” Krabby corrected the two as he was also beginning to follow Truff over.
“O… oh, sorry. I suppose I should have known, but… anyway, I hope you don’t mind me keeping an eye on him, I doubt he will do anything, but if it gives Kid peace of mind-” Sunburst’s words trailed off as they turned the corner, and witnessed Truffle collapsed in a heap next to a now open panel on the side of the machine. “W… what?!?”
Krabby immediately rushed to the fallen colt’s side. “Hey! Truffle, are you ok? What happened? Truffle!!! Aaaugh… it’s no good! He doesn’t seem to be injured, but he’s out like a light…. Truffle, what did you do…?”
