Ok, lame background rulz, but I couldn’t do better now
 
“Crystal Flower” or “Princess Sombralis” is the daughter of King Sombra and Queen Chrysalis, but she isn’t evil. In fact, she has a strong healing power, but inherited her father’s shadow-form and her mother’s horn.  
Her parents argued about her name a lot Sombra insisted, that his daughter must be “Crystal”. Chrysalis didn’t wanted to hear about crystals again. So she insisted, that her daughter will have the name of some exotic flower. The agrument ended, when the little filly said Crystal Flower together and began to call herself that Princess Sombralis is her “royal name”, what she don’t like to use. Like Cadance, the “Princess Mi Amora Cadenza”.
