Background:  
Free Fall was born early in the morning to Ladybug and Twister Blitz. He is Ladybug’s second child and only son. However, he may not be his father’s only child. Free Fall never knew much about Twister Blitz. The only family he has ever know was his mother’s family, which he has grown to dislike over the years. Ladybug’s family was very dysfunctional. They lived with his grandmother, Jolie. There was constant arguments and fights between his mother and his grandmother. Free Fall never really payed attention though. He didn’t understand. They were also poor, which he didn’t understand either as a young colt.
 
Free Fall was very outgoing as a kid, thus making him a popular one. Everyone in his grade knew him. He was that kid that everyone always knew of since kindergarten. He was the the kid that everyone wanted to be friends with, or at least sit with him and the rest of the popular kids. He was all the fillies 3rd grade crush. He had it pretty good at school.
 
Free Fall had lived a “normal” life up until the age of nine years old. After his mother tucked him in to bed one night, he began to hear yelling from what sounded like the living room. He didn’t really think much of it since he was so used to hearing ponies yelling all the time, so he fell asleep. The next morning however, he saw that his father was gone. Ladybug did the best she could to sugarcoat the situation, basically saying that “the police ponies took him away for a while”. Free Fall hasn’t seen his father since then.
 
Free Fall’s mother was torn by his father’s arrest. She began to drink and later started to use drugs. Free Fall had little to no good memories of his mother after that. His mother’s drug and alcohol problem also stirred up more fights between her and his grandmother. A little while after Free Fall turned 11, she died. He became a bit depressed after the death of his mother, and decided to make school his main focus, mostly to distract himself. Sometimes he would over work himself, and he still does.
 
Free Fall and his friends would go to the park all the time and play basketball. It was the only sport he ever liked. The rest, he was never interested in. One day, he and a friend were at the park shooting hoops, when a group of older kids walked up and demanded for Free Fall and his friend to leave. Free Fall said they would leave, on one condition: they had to beat them at a game of basketball. The two leaders of the group agreed, and played a game of basketball. They ended up losing the game. Free Fall and his friend were so shocked that they had won, that he didn’t even notice he had gotten his cutie mark until one of the older kids pointed it out. Free Fall also made a few new friends that day. The group of new friends weren’t necessarily the best influences. They were trouble makes, and often dragged Free Fall into their shenanigans. His old friends began to notice that he was changing, and it wasn’t good. They stopped hanging out with Free Fall less and less.
 
One pony from that group stood out to Free Fall. His name was Yellow Jacket, and was only a year older than him. He couldn’t really understand why Yellow Jacket stood out to him so much, and he realized. He was gay. Yellow Jacket soon found out, and to Free Fall’s surprise, he liked him back. The two had a little fling and soon began hanging out more often, but rumors started going around that they were doing more than hanging out. Kids at school started teasing him and calling him names. When Yellow Jacket was asked about it, he denied ever even knowing who Free Fall was. This broke Free Fall’s heart, and after that he became even more depressed. The whispering and name calling didn’t really help much either. It got so bad that at some points he thought about taking his own life.
 
A couple of weeks after he turned 13, Free Fall’s sister announced that she wanted to get out of Baltimare. Free Fall begged his grandmother to let him go with her until she finally agreed. They moved to Ponyville about less than a month after school started. Free Fall didn’t say goodbye to anyone, he just left, hoping he can start a new chapter in his life. He was happy to get out of Baltimare. However, his happiness didn’t last long. Sandy’s was a stoner, and her boyfriend, Ren, was an alcoholic. Ren started to become abusive towards Sandy and Free Fall, but somehow Sandy believes that Ren loves her.

My next gen characters have really changed a lot since the last time I had made references for them. There’s a new mane 6 for my next gen as well (if you been following along with the story then you probably know who they are). I needed to make some new references. Some of the characters got new designs, but it’s nothing drastically different to the point where you can’t recognize them.
