Skin can be treated and made into soft leather which is both comfortable and practical as a fabric.  
Chemicals found in the liver pancreas and spleen can be used to cultivate medicine.  
Brains are an excellent source of nutrition.  
hair, horns, fingernails and exoskeletons can be used to make solvents, which are a vital component in many chemical reactions and narcotics.  
Blood contains plenty of useful chemicals such as sulphur, iron and carbohydrates combine that with glycerine which can be extracted from body fat and you have the main ingredients in making plastic explosive.  
The oil in fat also makes a lubricant and a cheap fuel.  
Water extracted from the blood can be filtered through the kidneys to make it drinkable. Boiling it removes germs but filtering it removes toxins.  
if lungs are treated with right chemicals they can make useful containers for storing fluids.  
Gallstones can be fashioned into pearls for fine jewelry.  
And skulls make nice stylish headgear.
 
Us Albic people used every last part of the things we killed. It’s the rise of the Roman Empire that saw the end of that. The Romans where only interested in using a single part of an animal, the hind quarters of a bull for example. Their Elitist mentality has been one of the main reasons why resources on Earth have been depleted so quickly. If I was King of the Earth we wouldn’t have this problem.

I remember watching the Brazilian translation for that scene, using literally “reféns” e “salsicha”, which don’t rhyme at all. Amusing to say the least.

Don’t worry, Derpy, that’s not the craziest. As someone writing a fic heavy with Zecora, I have since learned about several rhymish couples like “you think” and “something”, “interest” and “forest”, “gone awry” and “misapplied”, “task” and “back”, “pegasus” and “illness”… lots of kinda-rhymes! :D
