@BP did you read the whole thing because I did give my points, I said that if they didn’t do what they did they would have either had to stop the show completely of pay money to fight it in a court and out of those three options just editing it was the best (if you think they should have spent money on it because of us you’re flat out wrong). Before you think something like this couldn’t possible go to court your wrong there’s some pretty stupid shit that goes to court and this wouldn’t be the stupidest, as much as that is a sad idea it’s true. So yes you are missing something.
 
BP2 what do you mean losing doesn't make sense, our goal was to have the voice, name, and eyes stay the same way and that didn't happen, not reaching your goal is losing, and saying we gave up is basic the same thing. Maybe you like give up better because it makes you think that if we keep trying we will reach it, but we won't so that's why I use the term "lose"   Fanloser there is no right reason to watch a show.

This entire fiasco is why we can’t have nice things. You’ll also notice that the majority of people who think Derpy is “retarded” are the so called pussy white-knights who started this shit in the first place.
 
I was extremely disappointed in the fandom because of this, we got more than what we’ve shown we deserve, and still we spat it back in their face.
 
I realize that the actions of few do not represent the intentions of many, but if that were truly the case, this entire thing would have been beaten down when the entire stupid issue reared its ugly head.

The “they could have gotten sued so they had to do it” argument is bullshit. You can’t sue a tv show for “offensiveness”. They could have a pony in blackface eating fried chicken and watermelon and they wouldn’t get sued.

The fact is it’s old news because we lost, when this went down we lost on every front. There were people blaming Studio B, The Hub, and Hasbro, and that is all bullshit. The fact is Hasbro made the right move, because if they hadn’t done what they did we wouldn’t have got S3 or anything further. The reason I say this is because with the sheer amount of retardation that comes from political correctness and lawsuits in the legal system Hasbro would either lose or have to spend too much money on lawyers and it would be cheaper for them to just shut the show down in that case. Hasbro doesn’t and shouldn’t need to stick their necks out for us.
 
So you’re wrong it’s dead, it’s over, and it’s too late. This isn’t me saying we shouldn’t fight for what we think is right, this is me saying this fight is already lost so stop bringing it up
 
TL;DR We lost this fight and its over that’s why it’s old news, there’s no changing what happened, the only thing bring this back up does is annoy the people who understand that we lost.
 
Also who is the fucking vocal minority telling us what to think now, you’re the ones saying we should care about this still when it’s over, you’re the ones saying we should listen to what you think and what you want. So next time stop and think before you say anything.
 
I feel inclined to agree with 441 because he’s right, although it could have been put more eloquently, all the people who bitched at Studio B, The Hub, and Hasbro were wrong to do so. As I stated before Hasbro did the right thing.

The proper course of action would be to calm down and tactfully make it known to the creators that we are extremely disappointed in the conspicuous absence of Derpy this season. With luck, they might put her back in future episodes.
