My Little Pony: Gekitou Pony Taisen! 3 is the third instalment of the Gekitou Pony Taisen! series.
 
The game covers the events from Season 1 to the Season 2 finale. This instalment introduces the ability to change forms during combat. In addition, players now can use a team of three characters against a opponent. This game keeps the shop feature from My Little Pony: Clash of Pony 2.
 
The system does away with the counter hit function in the first two games.
 
The content in this game would be reprised in America on the Wii in the form of My Little Pony: Clash of Pony Revolution, only with alternate touches.
