I’m a tiny blob of carbon living with quadrillions of others on a ball of rock that happens to be just warm enough for us to function. Said ball of rock has been juggling different forms of chemistry and somehow still maintains a workable balance in a universe that has so many ways to destroy it.
 
With help from other carbon blobs, I am capable of both manipulating microscopic pieces of matter on a hard drive, and seeing recorded light from distant galaxies.
 
Even as an individual, I am a whole world of cells. They are all very different, but have evolved to work together to preserve the greater whole.
