I really liked how Sunset and the girls knew to at least try to see what Applejack was trying to say. Too many times characters hold the idiot ball when their best friends try to tell them some crucial piece of information, but they won’t listen and almost never apologize until afterwards.

But Sunset and Sci-Twi and Pinkie had enough self-awareness to know AJ just doesn’t make wild accusations without some form of proof. Despite not having some major character moments like in Forgotten Friendship I find myself loving this special all the same due to those small character moments.
