In each vampire, there exists a duality of being. The sophisticated pillar of elegance and culture against the savage monster of the night. Some give in to this darker half, allowing themselves to become the monsters rightfully feared by the general public. Many within the Midnight Aristocracy condemn those who submit to this darkness, but not out of any sense of pity towards mortals, but because each monstrous creature to emerge from the castles of Coltsylvania increases the chances of their hidden camarilla becoming exposed to the nation at large.
 
Skirov, for her part, does not give in to her dark heart… willingly. Deep in her heart lies a cold intelligence, a savage demon of a mare, one which can take control of her body for brief periods of time.
