The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

@Inspector

There would be no nightmare, no torture, and no pain. Nothing to wake up from. The world would scream in agony for a moment, a fleeting moment below comprehension.

Then everything would be silent. Forever.

And then…

Seriously, If there’s ever a good Adventure Time/MLP crossover fic, it should have the Lich stage a hostile takeover of Discord’s body and soul.

Can you imagine the hellish nightmare that would spawn from that merging?

The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

The funny thing is, The Lich is strong where Discord is weak, and vice versa. The Lich has never been at full power in any of his apperances (needing to reach his well of power, and being in the snail and later Billy) while Discord has all the power in the world, but gets arrogent and gives his enemies openings. Discord was confident enough in his power to give the Elements back to the Mane Six. The first thing The Lich did when Finn came at him with Billy’s gauntlet was to target and destroy it.

So while Discord certainly has more power then The Lich, he’d eventually give The Lich an opening.

Well, we can at least rest safe knowing they’d never team up. After all, if the Lich killed everything, there’d be no one for Discord to torture.

That’s a tough one. Both are genre savvy and incredibly cut-throat. However, The Lich now has access to the Multiverse, and has that whole ‘death aura’ thing. Not to mention he can’t be truly defeated.

Which brings up the frightening possibility of the Lich allowing himself to be killed by Discord so that he can take Discord’s body and powers for his own.

Discord, it seemed, had grown bored of the old ones, and with a wave of his paw wiped almost all of them out, leaving only a few remaining to toy with. He was twice the tyrant the Guardians were, and brutally crushed the dreams of those few remaining old ones over and over again. The nations of the Earth became small cities, and the old ones began to forget.

Their children, however, did not.

The Pony Races convened and agreed to wipe out Discord using their own creation: a living cloud of color and light contained in a gilded locket. With the power of the Light, they seemingly defeated Discord, leaving the land safe for a time.

(Cue G1 to G3)

But after a mere millenia or two, Discord rose up again, and shattered their precious amulet into tiny fragments, regaining his hold on the Earth.

It was not until two beings of Light discovered the fragments and gained their power that Discord was defeated again.

That story got kinda Adventure Timey when you talked about the world ending Inspector. Which raises the question…

Who would win in a battle between

Discord, while known today as a terrifying beast of world-ending proportions, was once a hero. It is said that he was even more powerful then than he is now: the Guardians, it is said, learned this the hard way.

Discord wiped clean the slate of reality, and instead substituted his own: a blithe, insipid world of nonsense, which frustrated the order-loving Guardians to no end. He turned their own powers against them in much the same way as they turned their powers on the old ones, and made their lives hell. Finally, after toying with them, he crippled their bodies and minds, weakening them to such an extent that they could barely even remember their former lives. He then sent them to the far corners of the Earth, and laughed at their humiliation.

And laughed.

And laughed.

And laughed.

And laughed.

And the world began to change again.
