In the case of toy designs, yeah, they usually have more involvement then.
 
I just have a little bit of a pet peeve when it comes to people mistaking how much Hasbro has to do with the show(s) and that’s mostly because so many people heap undeserved praise on them for good episodes (e.g. “Great job, Hasbro!”) and are oblivious to the fact that DHX is the responsible party. The “Hasbro Studios” logo at the end misleads a lot of people into thinking that’s actually a thing, when it’s really just a branding.

Beach outfits are a G rating in even the most cautious companies, typically. Not sure why anyone is surprised.
