I would be lying if I said that Applejack or Fluttershy were among my favourite characters, but sometimes I just feel compelled to step in and defend them from the ridiculous flack that they get. MLP:FiM is the first show that I’ve seen for years that has a perfectly constructed and well-balanced main cast, and we should be celebrating this fact rather than attacking each other. I just can’t understand how any sane, thinking person could feel hatred or malice towards any one of these characters…

The cast ought to steer back to teamwork episodes. The whole Lesson Zero thing, while helping characters personally develop, is now starting to put main characters in the “Out of Focus” slot that gets more and more awkward when we have to wait for their eventual episode.
 
Co-op episodes (2 or 3 ponies working out their problems together) would be a big hand.
