@ Background Pony: Actually she is an adult, Lauren Faust said the Mane Six’s ages are the same as a young adult which means about 18 years olds. And at 18 you’re a legal adult though not officially since teenagers always have teen in their age.

Actually the cake twins, Pound’s eyes were BROWN and Pumpkin’s were blue. Therefore AJ’s eyes should have been completely green.

My headcanon: pony foals start out with pupils to small to see. as they grow older, their pupils end up growing wider than their eye sockets, making their eyes appear black. Finally, as the growth of the rest of their body catches up, their irises become visible once more.

They changed how foals look since first “abomination” appeared in MMDW (for better). Also green and orange colors blend and it doesn’t look good.

The only foals without black eyes are the Cake Twins, but since they’re presumably recurring foals in the series, they can get away with the extra detail… wait a minute!
