Coloratura has had a very busy year. Her career skyrocketed, resulting in more tours, more meet-and-greets, more stress, just more more more.
 
Then Svengallop signed her up to mentor an up and coming singer. A ‘Feather Bangs’. Great.
 
She’s heard of him before. He was a 15 year old heartthrob, very young in this career in her opinion. Just by his looks alone, he seemed very…entitled.
 
Alas, she had no choice. Better teach him how to act before he does something crazy, she supposed.
 
So here she was, looking for him in Canterlot in a very cozy cafe, and he was nowhere to be seen. Hm. He was supposed to be here…
 
“Hellooo.”
 
Never mind.
 
Coloratura turned to see Feather Bangs, that cocky grin and mischievous look in his eye.
 
“Feather Bangs.” She greeted, plastering a smile on her face, “I’m Colora-“
 
“I know who you are.” He interrupted, “Everypony with great music taste does.”
 
“Oh-Uhm, thank you.”
 
Feather Bangs gave a little laugh, one of those fake ‘I’m so cool’ that she often hears from him. “So, like, it’s an honor to be, yknow, mentored by you.”
 
“…Right. You’re late.”
 
“Yeah, sorry, but can’t keep the ladies waiting, right?”
 
”Uh-huh. Well, we’re not going to actually talk today, but more than likely next week.”
 
“Got it.” A few squeal were heard, and they both looked over to see a few love-strucked mares. Feather looked at the clock behind her, tsked and quickly grinned back at her again, winking. “Gotta run, Lolo.”
 
“Lolo?” She repeated, looking offended, but she was unheard as he was practically prancing away.
 
“I’ll see you tomorrow, Lolo!”

Ah, Rara, Feather Bangs worships the ground you walk on. Their first meeting didn’t go so well, and Rara had a feeling that Feather Bangs wasn’t all he cracked up to be.
 
 
When they do get to know each other, she finds that FB who I hc that his real name is Love Letter finds her to me a mother/sister figure, and he really wants her praise and friendship, as he’s very insecure of what other people think. Touched, Rara takes on that motherly role and keeps the young star from getting into trouble and their bond is stronger than anything in the world. FB cried like a baby when Rara got married to her wife, Applejack, and Rara was so so proud of FB when he started a family with Troubleshoes Clyde. They know everything about one another and trust each other completely.
