With a loud THUMP something landed in front of the barn.  
Applejack and Sweetie Belle looked at each other in suprise for a few seconds until Applejack went to open the barn doors to find Rainbow Dash lying there, her eyes streaming with tears.  
“Oh my! What happened, sugarcube?!” Applejack helped her up and led her inside where Rainbow let herself slump down onto a hayball.  
When Rainbow didn’t respond Applejack sniffed at her “Well you don’t smell like cider so you can surely speak with me… What is it?”  
Rainbow shook her head “I’m not drunk!” the tears kept rolling.  
Applejack sat down next to her and wiped her tears away and pulled her into a hug. She motioned Sweetie Belle to leave them alone.  
“You can speak with me, sugarcube. You know… what I told you last time didn’t change anything about our friendship.”  
Rainbow sniffled and turned her head: “I quit the wonderbolts.”  
Apllejack was surprised: “Why did you do that?!”  
“I… It’s not what I want anymore…”  
“But it was-” “Yes I know it was my dream all along!”, interrupted Rainbow.  
“But now that I’ve been with them I’ve nearly lost touch with all of you guys… I missed you so much and I… I noticed that I had everything I wanted… right here!”  
“Oh… but… are you sure about that?”  
“Yes… I’ve made up my mind when we were in the hospital… I might have missed it all. I might have never seen Sunny in years! And I don’t want that… I want to stay here with my friends! With you!”  
“M-me?”, Applejack blinked as if that could make her see that she was just imagining that.  
“I.. I did have a crush on you for a while… but I really didn’t want a long-distance relationship so I acted a bit rude towards you… I always wanted to challenge you to prove that you’re not as good as I thought you were… but you’re even better than that… And I’ll kill you if you tell anyone that I just said that.”  
Applejack gave short nervous laugh.  
“Well… Sometimes you have to go the wrong way to find the right… Just like me when I left for Manehatten.”  
“Yeah…”
 
A silence fell upon the large room.
 
“Seeing you guys again… and Fluttershy having her foal… I… want… to have a family aswell!”, Rainbow Dash blushed heavily and turned her head away.  
“What? But I thought you didn’t like foals!”  
“I might have lied… I really loved taking care of Scootaloo occationally… and hanging out with her… I sometimes thought… How would it be to raise my own foal… Teach it flying… And everything… Watch then become as cool as her mom…”  
Applejack just stared at her in surprised disbelieve.  
“I WANT A FAMILY WITH YOU!”, Rainbow Dash turned her head so suddenly towards Applejack that she jumped a bit  
“WHAT?!”  
“After seeing that Twilight made it possible for Fluttershy and Discord to have a foal! She can surely make it possible that we will have one aswell!!”
