Proper and most recent ref of my sona Azure <3 I might do something more elaborated at some point but anyways
 
I FINALLY got to give Azure a cutie mark. I never wanted her to have a drawing related CM such as a pen or a paint brush. I wanted her cutie mark to be more… conceptual. I’ve had this concept for AGES untill I finally decided I’d draw it.
 
Azure’s “talent” is supposed to be being caring and emotional, to care for her friends and loved ones (maybe even a bit too much). Blue is a color that can be related to either calm and peace, or sadness and melancholy. Azure is supposed to represent a soothing figure. Someone that will most likely cheer up on you and be there for you through it all, but at the same time, she will feel your pain and cry with you when things aren’t the best. She has a lot of emotions, she cares too much, she worries a lot, and those emotions overflow, which basically means she feels too much and cries a lot too.
 
Her cutie mark is based off the concept of “rain of emotions”. Rain is an element that can either bring a feeling of calming and peace, but it also brings a feeling of melancholy sometimes. I was originally going to use raindrops but I wanted something that would feel more “emotional”, so I used hearts instead.
