My first Luna! She is made from midnight, electric blue, dusty blue, and jewel minky. The black bits are velveteen (very nearly as soft as minky, but with less nap). She’s 21” to the top of her head, 27” to the tip of her horn, and about 36” from front to back.
 
Her sparkles are silver glass seed beads hand-sewn with silver metallic mylar thread. They glisten nicely when the light hits them, though I don’t think the pictures show that very well. I wanted the sparkles to look more show-accurate, which is why I chose little beads instead of larger crystal/acrylic jewels. Also, I tried to get their pattern more like what I see in the show–scattered like constellations, not evenly spaced.
 
She was a challenge to make. I designed her head, body, hair, and accessories patterns. Her eyes and cutie mark were machine-sewn using E the Pony’s embroidery files. The embroidered moon on her peytral (necklace) was designed by me. Her wings and mane are supported with wire.
