(A few weeks later, Snowflake was hanging out with Rainboom and Mini by the fountain in Town Square.)
Rainboom: Snowflake.. I love you; but you’re crazy.
Snowflake: No, I’m not!
Mini: Snowy.. We’ve heard all the stories too. He’s insane! You’re being insane!
Snowflake: You guys just don’t get it.. Look, my mom reformed Discord, and… I think Sombra could’ve been reformed too! It runs in my family, I think.. Seeing the good in ponies that others don’t.
Rainboom: Snowflake, look.. the guy is gone. He hasn’t come back in like, a LONG time. He’s not coming back, you can’t reform him. It’s crazy.
Snowflake: *pins ears down and frowns a bit* You guys are supposed to be my friends.. You’re supposed to support me.
Mini: We do support you, Snowy! *puts her hoof on her shoulder* We just don’t support your crazy ideas!
(Rainboom shoots her a dirty look)
Mini: What?! It’s true! We promised never to lie to each other!
Snowflake: *sighs* I get it. I already knew you guys wouldn’t agree with me.. No pony does. It’s ok.. It was just a hypothetical anyways. *small smile*
Rainboom: Cool, now that that’s over; Can we get back to trying to figure out what we’re doing today? My stomach is starting to attack my insides, so I hope our plans involve food.
Snowflake: Well, um.. Maybe we could-
(Snowflake’s words got interrupted by the sound of hooves getting closer)
Mini: Oh! Princess Twilight is going somewhere.. They always have to make such a big deal of her.. Our moms are part of the Guardians of Equestria too, remember? *laughs a bit*
(Snowflake’s eyes widen and she trots towards Twilight)
Mini: Snowy! Where are you going?!
Rainboom: What about getting food?!
(Snowflake ignores them and makes her way to Twilight)
Snowflake: Mrs. Sparkle?
Twilight: Snowflake! It’s so nice to see you! *hugs her with her wing* How are you doing, sweet heart?
Snowflake: I’m ok.. I have a question for you.
Twilight: Anything.
Snowflake: Can you take me to the Crystal Empire?
Twilight: Can I- Well that’s a weird question. Why do you want to go to the Crystal Empire?
Snowflake: I.. *thinks of the real reason why she wants to go and then shakes her a head a bit* I heard the empire has a really nice library!
Twilight: *gasps* You want to visit the library?!
Snowflake: *thinks to self with wide eyes* What have I done?
Twilight: *hugs Snowflake tightly* Fluttershy should be proud! I know I am, and you’re not even my filly! What are you researching? What books are you going for?! Why didn’t you come to me sooner?!
Snowflake: Princess, please! Ponies are looking! *blushes in embarresment*
Twilight: Oh! Right, I’m sorry. *lets her go* I just get a little excited when anypony mentions about visiting a library! So, anyways.. If you can get your parents permission, of course I can take you. I had planned on visiting my family there soon anyways!
Snowflake: Thank you, Princess!
(Snowflake turns and rushes back home, excited to begin her adventure to reveal the truth about Sombra. She didn’t know why, but somehow, she felt this was something she HAD to do. Fluttershy always told her to follow her instincts.. And that’s exactly what she planned on doing.)
