Kirin is a kind of magical creature in ancient Chinese tale. They’re a symbol of peace, hope and good future. In ancient China, people often make kirin sculpture or some stuff with kirin on it (such as mural, clothes, and so on) to wish their families stay healthy and have a nice future.

Some people may ask “Is Kirin from Japan?”. It’s a funny question to me. Because as a native Chinese, I have learned a lot of curture that about my homeland. Imma certainly sure China is the Homeland of Kirin. And this ancient Chinese creature had been introduced to Japan, SEAsia, and many western countries during trade and curture exchange in the past thouthans years. That’s why you guys can hear “Kirin” this word around the world. So, please do not make mistake again. ^^
