You know, I thought that Sci-Twi is the figurative counterpart of Starlight Glimmer.
 
And this scene is an example. (Remember the end of the 5th season).

Not gonna lie I almost cried during this scene.

Personally, this reminds me of the finale of Sailor Moon Sailor Stars.

Glad to hear I wasn’t the only one thinking about the Korra/Kuvira spirit world scene. Though I think there were plenty of ‘battling parties connect in the afterlife’ type of moments in different shows.

FiM fights are somehow longer. EG is cursed with the necessity to build the world with drastically less time than a TV series which’d have about twelve hours of explaining the settings and characters before a Dragon Ball fight in E26. This being a reccuring event I’m referring to, not just last season.
 
Additionally, since the villain (the one of two who will shoot mega lasers) is Cel, that’ll make things more awesome. (As mentioned, Starlight’s role is yet unknown. :j )
