not to mention a lot of us actually buy the damn episodes later. Along with thousands of pounds of toys - which by the way is ACTUALLY the the important source of income that networks care about these days. That’s one of the messed up things about the animation industry - they actually care more about toy sales than views.
 
I’ve seriously seen people get legitimately bent out of shape - like ACTUAL REAL outrage over this, and it’s just stupid to me. It really bothers me that after nine seasons we still have people arguing over what kind of people are “true bronies”.
 
This kind of shit, the “best pony” wars, the shipping wars and the wars between “Lauren Faust Purists” and everyone else…. These are all the things that I will not miss when the show’s over.
 
To me though the absolute worst part of this fandom are the people who actually get legitimately offended because someone likes a character that they don’t, and they spend hours writing giant essays on why a fictional character is a bad person and that people who like the character are somehow bad as well. Most of the time people also inject way too much real world logic into this cartoon fantasy world. The typical “Celestia is an evil tyrant” rants.
 
 

 
Back on the topic of the image though…. I really find it extremely amusing that miss elegant marshmallow has a picture of Applejack’s Apple Ass hung on her office wall. Subtle. Subtle like a melted marshmallow.
