I think another reason that people have bad memories with Fairly OddBaby and poof which is when people usually say the show got bad. although poof was not the problem was that special although and despite what some may claim the crystalling was nothing like that special

Honestly, I see more TMNT, Batman, Super Mario, Disney, ect. toys & merch’ in stores then MLP frankly.
 
And as I said, MLP:FIM hardly had any toy tie-ins after Season 4.

What is with this vendetta against toys? I can understand how something being done to sell toys can lead to a drop in quality as a result of wanting to sell toys rather than make something of quality, but these people act as if something being done to sell toys at all makes it inherently bad.

I remember some fans expected that Princess Skyla filly-alicorn toy was going to be their kid, so there were other missed opportunities for them to “push toys into the series.” So in regards to ex-bronies whom bash the show still for “being a toy commercial,” honestly the show later on failed at being a toy commercial, and hardly had any toy references after “Rainbow Power.” (And even that was hardly in the show.)

I think it was mostly people just be upset over that headcanons and the never actually alicorn lorewas being destroyed and also people forgetting that the show was always supposed to come out toys. I don’t think she even had a lot of toys

why does flurry recive a hunk of drama anyways? i really dont pay attention to drama.

Interestingly enough Faust recently said that Canon is the show itself and not the idea she didn’t get the put in

Ironically, some of the things Faust originally invisioned are ironically things they hate about the show now. Like some whom hate how Pinkie’s gotten supposedly “crazier” in more recent ep’s, don’t know Faust actually wanted her to be really crazy, and the version we got in the show is actually a toned down version. Let that sink in.  
Another Faust idea was having Scootaloo dealing with not being able to fly, and keeping her that way. (And Faust felt Dashie wouldn’t “make a good friend/surrogate-sister” for her.)
 
Also, some of her original ideas like having Applejack headbutt trees, (which was changed to kicking them) wouldn’t of gone over well. (Just imagine all the head trauma jokes, fans would’ve made if they kept that.)

The alicorn haters were especially angry over having another alicorn.

I have never seen hating on Flurry, on the other hand I remeber how the fandom made a lot of drama (as always) about the inclusion of Cadance.

I remember in the Season 1 days, fans were saying it was the CMC that was “ruining the show,” and such much like they were Flurry…  
Some fans loathe children, while forgetting whom the target audience of MLP:FIM is.
