“Fog? What fog?” The gryphon says, preening her feathers a bit while looking at herself in the mirror.
“That fog over there. How could you have not noticed? It’s keeping people from leaving the town!” The earth pony mare says with a raised eyebrow and pointing out the window and at the fog bank surrounding the town.
The gryphon pauses her legwork for a second to look out the window, and then starts right back up again saying, “Huh, that is a bit odd isn’t it? I’m sure it’s nothing.”
Mulberry gives her a confused look. How could she not be concerned about it? She looks around at the room again, and then a thought occurs to her.
“I thought there’d be more people here, considering how much food the chef is making.” Mulberry says.
“Oh, he’s not cooking for anyone in particular. He just likes to cook. Heck, I think he likes it as much as I like dancing!” The Emilia says giggling, “Speaking of which, how about that dance?”
“I’m not sure. I feel like resting and collecting my thoughts a bit. Maybe head to the city hall afterwards.” Mulberry says with a sigh, trying her best not to tear up at that thought of Antione again.
“You just need to relax a little lil’ missy! You know what’s relaxing? Dance!” The Gryphon says, doing a sort of shuffle towards the mare and grabbing her front hooves excitedly.
