Yeah, true, I guess some assumed it was just some flat fantasy midevil world, or something, because of that “ponies control the sun/moon/whether/ect.” factor, but there might be more to it then that.
what evidence was there to even prove that the planet was flat in the show anyway.I even remember someone trying to make the argument that because the sun and moon are controlled by two horses it makes more sense for the planet to be flat. Also a little person forgetting the Equestria is not the planet when they had to go to the edge of Equestria

Funny thing is, some fans actually were arguing on whether, or not the Pony Planet was round, or flat, despite that quote, and Twilight having a round globe in her room.

I will admit, flat-earthers do annoy me. lol I even took a shot at them too, in another one of these “CMC on the world” pics.
This is probably the first time we see what their planet looks like. Kinda like how “Super Mario Galaxy” shows what Mario’s World looks like for the first time. I guess this officially makes the MLP & Mario Brothers “aliens.”
