This was a stage 1 fusion I would have liked to have seen remain to exist rather than become a part of the also lovely Queen Motherly Morning. Here is what could have been.
 
Zap Apple Jam would have been a tomboyish mare, strong headed and straight to the point. A hard worker and competitive pony, the pegasus/earth pony mare may not have been the speed of RD, but fast nonetheless. Thus got her a part time job with the Wonderbolts, performing shows once in a while hen she had time. Her Apple heritage along with her pegasus abilities giving a special talent to be able to produce the rare Zap Apple fruit whenever she performed a “sonic zapple boom” in harvest season, charging the orchard with the magic to produce the succulent fruit and to craft the amazing jelly later on. That is, for a price of a few bits.
