Yeah despite this being official Im pretty certain whoever made this has no idea what a supporting character is and just put in some fan favorite characters. How is derpy a supporting character? In what singular episode was she actually a supporting character…and Cheese is usually one of the primary focuses in any episode he’s in
Sadly there are few good Spike-centered episodes, which is sad because he is a good character. There are a few good Spike episodes, like Gauntlet of Fire and The Times They Are a Changeling.
The sad thing is while Spike could be seen as a main character, he’s more at his best when he’s supporting character than a main character. Often classified as being the “straight man” mostly to characters like Twilight.
When there are episodes centered around Spike as the main character he’s either portrayed as either short-sighted or selfish and because of that makes him come off as a uninteresting and unlikable and because of that reason fans tend to think less of him as a character.
