Well, let me ask those people a question: did Derpy ever save an empire from destruction and make peace with two races that Equestria long thought would be impossible to make peace with?
Not saying she should be excluded from the shot either, but Spike has been in the show since day 1, and the fandom still treats him like a background character. Heck, even even background characters get more love than him.
That sure explains it. Spike deserves to be in this shot more than Starlight that’s for sure. I don’t get all the hate for Spike.
