I think that is something people just aren’t getting.
The finale and epilogue are not meant to be the absolute end of G4. That is how we have a tenth season coming, albeit in print, a stage show, a ton of books, a new manga. It is why Jim Miller said that while he hopes Hasbro reboots the generation, there is still a big possibility for more G4 content.
This is not an end to the generation, it is the heart. FiM is about the journey from someone who cannot understand friendship, to someone who learns it, to someone who represents it, to someone who eventually teaches the next little pony who doesn’t understand it’s value.
