Ok so i just took inventory of my ponies and the ones i dont have… Holy shit i am gonna be gearing up for MONTHS(i have 2 buildings that give gems, one in ponyville and the other in canterlot) so between the daily 6 gem minimum harvest plus the additional 2 to 12 gems from parasprites, changelings, vines, bats, and black crystals as well as group quests and limited time events I should have all the multipliers by the middle of next year’s summer and then i will dive on in to the quest

This has images of the timed fight and info on the characters needed to speed it up. You could also get hundreds of gems by repeating timed quests (if you already got all the prizes) and avoid spending real money that way.

i’m actually gearing up for that quest and that box chrysalis sent has been in canterlot for no less than a month… any tips on how to get ALL the characters from that event without spending any gems?
