Speaking of Bandai, they helped fund Forever Red (after Disney cut the budget so much they couldn’t make the episode) but only in exchange for them promoting a new toy. This is why it ends with Serpentera being defeated by a bike.

in fact Bandai was going to make toys even if there was no show. ethey ven started working on toys based on Samurai Sentai Shinkenger before samurai was actually event.

Yeah, even though Power Rangers didn’t start with toys, the toys are just as important to the franchise as the toys are to My Little Pony. To the extent that the writers said they had a hard time getting Forever Red made with Disney (which owned Power Rangers at the time) asking why they would bother to make an episode “promoting old toys that are no longer made”.
It is well known for its toy line.
And the show does have its toy plugging moment
also, why is it that most netflix shows that are remotely childish get voted with 4 stars or less?
