I made Lionel a little bigger to add to his role as a comic character.

His design is a little more of a stereotypical foreigner trying too hard to be Western. (Like most Arabic/Central Asian/Persian guys minus the gold chain)

Speaking of which I made him Persian which still works with the geographic placement of Abyssinia.
