We’ll just have to wait for Clone Wars season 7.
I’m aware, but the “how is he still alive?” thing wasn’t really addressed when he showed back up in Rebels. Presumably because it was handled in Clone Wars.
Maul was also in rebels, I haven’t gotten to that part myself yet. I lost cable when that part happened. I was at the part where Anakin Ahsoka and obi-wan where facing off against the bro and sis of the force and there father.
I don’t think Maul actually came back to life so much as being cut in half just somehow failed to kill him. Admittedly, I’m still working my way through Clone Wars, but every time I’ve heard anyone talk about it, it was always “he survived” rather than “he died and came back”.
Even disregarding Legends stuff, both Maul and Palpatine came back to life, so cheating death is clearly a Force power.
In the old-canon novels, Palpatine reincarnated himself through clone bodies and some old Sith ghosts tried to possess Jedi students. So, kinda?
Edited
Except the baby is established as 50 years old, and Yoda would have died 5 years ago. Not much wiggle room for a reincarnation, unfortunately.
you know at this point I wouldn’t put “reincarnation” being one of the powers of force wielders on either side
Mandalorian takes place 5 years after Jedi. And that’s not actually Yoda. The fandom just calls it that because the baby is currently nameless, and Yoda’s species has also never been given a name (which I think is actually intentional).
