Before I begin on a color piece I will often do a relatively tight B/W drawing to work out how lighting will interact with characters or objects in the piece.

doing what pegasus ponies love to do. Fly. To dance amongst the clouds and upon the wind. Either alone or with other ponies. In my Equestria dreamscape it’s one of the things I enjoy the most.
