From what I understand, mods only step in if the tags are being abused. There’s quite a few tags out there that mods haven’t gotten rid of, that may only have a few images to it. If mods got rid of tags just because it only had one or two images to it, they’d be getting rid of a few OCs
You can’t just add anything as a tag though, (believe me, I’ve tried! xD)
You have to type something that has already been previously tagged on another image.
I’m fairly sure it’s a function to make the lives of those whom run this site a lot easier. ^^
But….but….you just click tags and type it lol
