I just think that the remix is catchier. Both songs have their strong and weak points…

The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

The Fluffiest
Same thing with Ken Ashcorp/Glaze’s remix thereof of Supernatural.

Though in this case, I really don’t care that much for the original. •ponyshrug• I like my songs to have a solid beat. It doesn’t have to be kicksnares and wubs, it just needs to have a clear rhythm. The original just seems to blend together into a smooth flow of sound, which just isn’t as catchy for me.

That’s always the way it’s been with creative arts in general, though. Certain styles will end up having more mass appeal than others, and works in those styles will garner more attention because of it. It’s just a part of human nature.

As a composer myself, I think both versions of the song are very well done and I can appreciate them in different ways on their own merits. I’m aware that TLT’s remix is much more popular, but I don’t let that detract from my enjoyment of EB’s original. They both have intrinsic value that’s independent of their popularity.

It's a cartoon show!
Tombstone has actually said that he wished the original song got more attention than his remix. He’s also said he thinks the remix is good just not 4 million views good.

Personally I like Tombstone’s more than the original, but I love all of Eurobeat Brony’s work, and I like Eurobeat in general, thanks to him.

I really only think it got as popular as it did because that kind of “kick-snare-kick-snare” electro whatever is so popular right now.

Sad too. It was cool seeing a genre like eurobeat finally getting some exposure.
