Using fan artist’s comment threads to talk about those subjects is really rude, and that’s why we have rules against it.
@Parallel Black
Because that BP uploads Applejack pro-confederate images without “mouthpiece”, but then hypocritically tag wars with people about including the tag on images they don’t like. If you want to debate this, use our forums, support channels, or send me a PM. And I have no idea what “standard rule” you’re talking about, so use a report or one of the support forums.
@Background Pony #2311
No one called you evil. You’ve already downvoted everyone of these images, filter “Pride” and get on with your life.
It’s like some of you have never even read the definition of the “Mouthpiece” tag and expect it to be on every image that triggers chantards. Filter “pride” and go do something meaningful with your lives.
That’s not what I said. People can say what want but there comes a moment where you walk on line that should be walked on, say belittling a minority race for example. (This is an example, not saying you did it)
Belittling a race is wrong hence why it is not allowed in many countries despite there being freedom of speech. Same applies for for LGTBQ+. No one is vilifying you, you might even be a nice person, but that community doesn’t need to be put down.
Also in this case the drawings are not mouthpieces. If it had a banner that said “be yourself” or something like that, but these drawings come from a headcanon page, where viewers headcanon the character being bi or gay or whatever, hence why the same characters appear in a different drawing with a different flag. The artist never even put them here anyway.
Yes, because everyone who even remotely disagrees with you must be evil.
Give it up every thing you say is being deleted because a) just filter it, and b) it’s putting others down and making them feel like they are wrong and abnormal.
Why didn’t you respond to my comment? If Applejack waving a confederate flag is the same as this, and that can be considered a mouthpiece, then this is one too. Why are you putting your personal definition before a standard rule?
Yes, this sequence of images is celebrating LGBTQ History Month in the UK.
I am neutral on that front also,… LGBTQ history month?
That sounds like a great discussion for the forums - having Trixie celebrating LGBTQ history month is no more out of character for her than Applejack waving a Confederate flag. If you don’t like seeing an image of Trixie celebrating LGBTQ history month, or if you don’t think that Lauren Faust would want Trixie to hold the transgender pride flag, then please hide the image or filter whatever tags are appropriate.
@Badumsquish
She is the Princess of Love, after all!

I think Princess Cadance has a WAY stronger claim to being Trans XD
You know that is Kind of a Problem with depicting trans-character.
If you don´t go stereotyp or outright tell the audience they Pretty much don´t exist.
Add to that, that “Word of God.” and “Death of the Author” are Always in direct Competition with each other…
Sorry Lauren Faust saying she intended Trixie to be a stallion has no meaning to me, also she stated that Trixie was a female in the same interview because she turned out that way she did in the collective work (Animators, voice actors). So even if we would go with “Word of God” we would have a contradiction.

I feel like the inclusion of the flag itself designates this as a mouthpiece picture, though. If it shows support for a specific movement then that should count for the tag regardless of the character individual background.
As much as I agree that this, out of everything in the collection, definitely holds the most weight behind it in terms of believability and stuff, that shouldn’t make it an exception to Derpi’s methods.
Such very true words. Totaly agree.
