I Freaking LOVE the idea of Twilicorn.
 
She’s always made the most sense to become Alicorn. Before it was confirmed, I made a theory that from Episode 1 She was being Groomed to become Celestia’s heir. Because few royal Families would make someone their student without planing to make them their succesor.
 
If the others even end up in a plot that may end with them as alicorn, then I’d be more Skeptical, but not overly so; the others would just need sufficient (Plot) Justification and Foreshadowing.
 
…The most I can see for foreshadowing for the others, is that Luna and Celestia wear both Crowns AND necklaces. So… Pfft… No idea; I just hope the studio thinks long and hard before even considering the others following Twilight.

At the moment I’m seeing a roughly 2 to 1 ratio of “bitching about whining” to “actual whining” internet-wide. Most of the people commenting on the Alicornpocalypse are either guardedly optimistic– I’m guessing because the show hasn’t let us down yet – or taking the ever popular “wait and see” approach.

It’s around, you just need to look for it. The fans here are at least being more civil about it.

I really don’t get it either. I’ve seen a lot more “QQ /mlp/ moar loltards” than actual negative feelings on the matter.

I think most of it’s just Sid and one or two background ponies posting stuff. That and the usual vocal batch of nuisances in other places.
