Except that’s what they would think? They didn’t remember anything nice about Sunset because she’s done exactly that in the past.

She has the whole table for herself and still pissed? Some ponies are impossible to please…

Yes, because Sunset showed the photos that she had herself, but how about the photos that each one had, exactly where are those photos or videos? I highly doubt they believe Sunset altered them.

Also—that’s not how plot holes work.

This was the worst special out of all of them in my opinion and since it broke my heart so the other specials deserve more love not forgotten friendship

Believe it or not, I thought the same.
 
Also, when Sunset Shimmer sacrificed herself for the girls, why didn’t they do anything? they just stood there looking at nothing else, they could have prevented her from losing many memories, if they had taken the stone from Wallflower. Or the writers may have put it that Wallflower lost control of the stone and it began to absorb memories by itself.

How it feels when you love the new Star Wars movies but people keep shitting on them.

She’s not angry about her friendship issue, she just angry about food.

Yeah, Forgotten Friendship’s pretty weak.

First of all, I must say this is one of the best Equestria Girls specials ever made. However, I also think it’s one that has a lot of story and script holes.  
For example, that only the good memories of Sunset Shimmer have been removed from the girls, but what about the photographs they took, the movie they participated in (possibly this happened after this special, it is not known very chronologically speaking), the musicals that came out on the internet, and the photos that are on social networks … I very much doubt Wallflower over there was able to remove all of that, even if the stone powers worked with technology, Twilight and Pinkie Pie could have had many backups in the cloud and in many photo albums. Other than that Fluttershy could have talked to the girls’ pets and they said, “Why don’t you guys hang out with Sunset anymore? That they’re not friends?”
 
Apart from many things, it could be said that this special ruins itself if one watches it too many times and is thoroughly analyzed.
 
But still, it is still one of the best.
