Instead of reading My Little Dashie, I listened to the audiobook while I was supposed to be working… At the end, someone asked why I was sitting at my desk crying… Now I only read/listen to fanfics in private.

That’s just 3 minutes 26 seconds better than average. Nothing worth boasting about.

What happens in Eternal?

Well, just for curiosity I read My Little Dashie, and yes, it was a pretty sad, happy and emotional story. However, I just can’t understand how it could have made me cry. Don’t get me wrong, the story was marvelous, but I just couldn’t see why it made people cry. Perhaps there’s something wrong with me, I don’t know.

My Little Dashie was a little sad. I think my eyes got a little moist. I did rather like the positive message at the end, though.
 
Device Heretic’s Eternal made me cry for a week. It wasn’t just the sniffles or manly tears, either. It completely kicked my ass.
 
Both had a really positive message, though. Eternal was one of those stories that made me realize that one of these days, there won’t be any tomorrows left. I should really spend my time with friends now. It kicked my ass into gear. I’m thankful for that. I did not expect the story to have that effect on me.

Yeah, the writing was mediocre. I couldn’t stop feeling sad about the ending, though.

I read the Dicks Everywhere Trilogy with a straight face.

haha, damnit, now i can never read sadfics again. though…it’s actually true if it’s just a sadfic for the sake of being sad.

I read MLD and wept for the people who believe it’s great writing.

I read My Little Dashie and didn’t cry. I did get a lump in my throat and major feels, though.

I browsed the entire “Immortality Blues” tag and wept manly tears, until someone pointed out that reading sadfic stuff is like masturbating your tear ducts and couldn’t stop smiling and laughing. Crygasm!

I’ve read Preggity and I didn’t even feel aroused.

I read MLD and didn’t cry. I did get teary-eyed though, and I felt pretty down about it until I read the sequels.

I read none and i feel great with it!  

I read Like Fine Wine and enjoyed the story for its artistic character portrayal instead of just the porn
