I get that, but you’re missing something. The joke in question was always meant to be a bait and switch, yes the end result is Homer fantasizing about food because that’s his character, but that doesn’t take away from the setup of the joke.
 
I do agree it would have been better if it had been a little more relevant to Cadence’s character but as it stands the comic isn’t bad or hard to understand because of it’s lack of. Minor out of character comics are a ‘dime a dozen’ here on the internet especially in this fandom, besides I think it’s funnier to have Cadance dream this because it’s so unlike her.

The original joke is that Homer is a glutton, hence Bart’s unwitting lead-in to a sex reference gets turned into being about food instead.
 
Cadence isn’t gluttonous. The comic makes no sense. If it had changed it from food to something that makes sense with Cadence’s character, then it would have qualified as a parody. As it is, it’s just creativity-free laziness.
